  • The Place of Mercy in Covenant Practice

Heb 4: 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The final product of every covenant with God is the delivery of help we seek from him. Mercy is that door that leads to that help of God.

Without mercy it would be difficult for humans to sustain covenant responsibilities.

Sacrifice and offerings alone cannot guarantee our covenant dreams, but the mercy of God can complete the assignment. (Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.)

God’s covenant with man is rooted on mercy and not human perfection.

Psalms 89: 28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him. Without mercy covenant will collapse under human weakness and failure. (Psalms 39:5….. verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity.)

    • Mercy covers covenant failures: because every covenant has conditions, when there’s failure, mercy provides restoration when those conditions are broken.
    • Mercy opens the doors that obedience alone cannot open.

Roms 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

    • Mercy opens the door of grace and favor

In Gen 6:8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Though that whole generation was guilty of corruption and wickedness which condemned them, but one and his household out of mercy of God escape.

2Peter 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; 7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

Noah and Lot were treated differently not because they were righteous, though they were perfect but because mercy was added to their righteousness (Isaiah 64: 6 But we are all as an unclean thing and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;)

    • Keeping of Covenant is not by power: It takes grace; therefore, mercy helps us to fine that grace to help in time of need. (Heb 4:16,)

Mercy governs human response in covenant

God expect those covenant practitioner to show mercy because that’s the way it works. Mtt 5:7

Luk 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37

Forgive those who offend you as your show of mercy.

Conclusion: Try to live free minded towards everyone regardless of what they did or what they are doing.

  • Breaking Family Curses Through Kingdom Service

    Gal 3:13

    Exd 20:5-6

    Isaiah 10:27

Introduction: You need to understand family curses

👉 Family curse is a reoccurring negative pattern that runs through a bloodline (maybe poverty, delay, barrenness, failure at the edge of breakthrough, sickness, etc.

Exd 20:5, talks of visiting generations with father’s’ iniquity

👉This means patterns can travel through bloodlines if not spiritually addressed.

    Take note:

Curse is real but redemption is stronger

Christ has broken the legal hold of curses through redemption. Gal3: 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law

    Understand Redemption

👉 The legal claim of curse is cancelled by Christ, because when he went to the cross, we went to the cross with him, so when he died, we died and when he resurrected, we also resurrected – (Rom 6: 4

Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.)

👉 Many are redeemed but not positioned for the enforcement their freedom.

👉Our freedom must be enforced through: Covenant understanding (Prov 4:7)

Service (Job 36:11) Sacrifice (psalm 50:5) Alignment (John 15:7)

    Why Kingdom Service Breaks Curse

👉When you engage in kingdom service, you switch bloodline spiritually. You move from biological lineage to

Covenant lineage – (Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:)

☑Christ said (Mtt12:50) those who do my fathers will are my family members.

    3 Things that Service do

✅ Service Provokes Divine Backing – (Exd 23:25, You shall serve the Lord, … and I will take sickness away,

Attracts covenant protection – (Zech 2:8…. for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.)

✅Service invokes Generational mercy – (Exd 20:6, mercy flows to generations of those who love and serve God.

    Meaning service reverses inherited patterns

When you serve, what ran in your father or mother stops with you.

✅ Service Brings Anointing that destroys yokes – (Isaiah 10:27) Service keeps you under anointing

    While anointing breaks inherited burdens

Practical ways to break family curses through service

    1. Serve consistently in God’s house – avoid occasional service but serve Covenantly.
    2. Serve with sacrifice – curses bow to higher altars, when your altar of sacrifice rises negative altars collapse.
    3. Engage in soul winning – Nothing provokes heaven like advancing God’s kingdom (Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.)
    4. Serve with much financial kingdom commitment – Tithes, offering, kingdom projects. You redirect your family’s financial flow into covenant channels. If God want to bless his work through you, it will rob over you.

Signs a family curse is breaking –

    • You start seeing what nobody in your lineage saw (Positive) Strange struggles suddenly lose power
    • Doors open unusually
    • Patterns that were normal disappear

Conclusion: Poverty ends, Delay ends, Marital instability and Financial instability ends.

  • Kingdom Mindset for Strategic Soul Winning

    Text: Mtt 6:33, Prov 11:30

Did you know that soul winning is the heartbeat of God

Jesus came to seek the lost. (Luke19:10).

Until we begin to think like God in matters of soul value, we won’t pursue his agenda towards soul winning intentionally.

When you seek Gods kingdom first soul winning will become your heartbeat

    What is kingdom mindset

It is prioritizing Gods kingdom above personal comfort Seeing people as eternal souls, not just physical beings. Seeking what matters to God than what matters to you.

    Strategic wisdom for soul winning

    Prov 11:30

    What is kingdom wisdom?

It is not intelligence (1Cor 1:20…. hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? (James 3:15). It is not education

It is not a function of age

Kingdom wisdom is the ability to apply God’s principles and promises correctly for divine results. Wisdom is spiritual insight applied practically.

👉 Relational Wisdom – knowing how to deal with people in different situations and getting results. (1Cor 9:20-22)

Take note: Different situations require different responses.

👉 Financial Wisdom – Financial wisdom demands accountability and faithfulness (Every money that enters your hands must be accounted for before God.) 1Cor 4:2, Zech 1:17

    How to access kingdom wisdom

    1. Ask for it – James 1:5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
    2. Fear of the Lord – Prov 9:10. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

    4. Associate with the wise – Prov 13:20. 20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed
    5. Engage in kingdom service – service exposes you to divine secrets (Psalms 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.)

Signs you are operating in kingdom wisdom

    1. You begin to experience sustainable success
    2. You solve problems instead of creating them
    3. You grow steadily not suddenly and crash
    4. You avoid unnecessary battles.

    Supporting people emotionally

    • Intentional inviting people to church or fellowships: Invite them to church programs, Christian events and Revival programs
  • Walking in Covenant

Covenant is a mutual/legal agreement binding on two or more persons whose mutual interest are involved.

This is legal agreement between you and God. Gen 2:15-17, Gen 8:22, Exodus 23:25.

    Preparing yourself for Covenant practice

Covenant practice is a game changer. Job 36:11, Gen 12:1-4

    2. Be determined to practice walk without fail.
    3. See every covenant service as a sure way to success.
    4. Ask God in prayer for grace to walk faithfully. Prov 16:3.
  • Do You have any Vision?

    Text: Prov 29:18

Did know that until you see something you cannot pursue it. Therefore vision is the mental picture of the future you want to see or become.

Vision gives us pursuit but any vision that is not pursued will die in the realm of realm of the mind..

God can never give you what you have not seen in the vision.

    ,Joshua 6:2, Acts 3:6-8.

    How to Manage Vision.

    1. Write your Vision down. Habakuk 2:2.
    2. Commit God – get God involved through covenant practice. Prov 16:3.
    3. Get the hand of your prophet for spiritual guidance. 2Kings 13:15-18.
    4. Pursue it without procrastination, procrastination is the murderer of vision.
    5. Employ faith and patience. Heb 10:36.
    6. Engage in warfare because Satan will definitely manipulate you.
    7. Stay focus and diligent. Prov 25:25.
  • Dealing with a spirit of Negative Attraction

Did you know that what you carry determines what follows you? Most people don’t know that the things that happens to them are reflections of the spirit they carry.

Apostle Paul confirmed that wherever he went prophecies had it that bond and imprisonment follows him. Even at Melita the barbarians noticed that though he escaped the storm and ship wreck but vengeance suffer him not to live  Acts 20:23,281-4

Note: identifying the cause of negative attractions would help us overcome them because only those that break the  hedge would the serpent bite.

Things that may causes negative attraction?

    1. The force of Retribution: Galatians 6:7, Rom 14:12, Acts 9:13-16.

Paul suffered this force of retribution, due to the killings of the christens. Acts 28:1-5, Gal 1:13.

    1. Unbroken Covenants with evil spirits, Matt 12:43-45.
    2. The presence of evil spell or curses. Numbers 22,23.
  • Miracles of Constant Positive confession.

The temptation to change our language when challenges persist is normal, but staying constant and consistent is rare.

One good thing that gave Moses miracle of exodus from Egypt was the power of consistent and positive language. Regardless of the stubbornness and hardness of Pharaoh’s heart, Moses never stopped saying “let my people go”.

God wants us to be people of consistent positive confession regardless of what we see or hear.

Did you know that faith is the  link between man and his desire. Rom 10:9. Confessing and declaring what we believe are what brings salvation (fulfillment). Heb 11:1, James 2:25, Prov 18:20, Heb 10:23

    2. It stabilizes your trust in God. Rom 4:21.
    3. It is a destroyer of doubt, Rom 4:20
    4. It is a miracle maker, Luke 18:1.
  • The Straight and Wide Gate

    Text: Matthew 7:13-14

Jesus warned us to be careful with what he considered to be broad and wide gate because it offers cheap and convenience that mostly lead to destruction. Unlike the straight but narrow way that has lots of pressure and inconvenience which most people would rather want to dodge not knowing that it leads to happiness.

    The Broad-Way Christian

Because of cheap temporary gains some Christians have chosen to live their lives today as if the narrow way has been widened by God, as we see the strict adherence to Bible standard and integrity has been frequently altered and assaulted.

The truth is that Narrow way has not been widened

The means will definitely justify the end says a wise man. Know of a truth that once the means is corrupted, the end will never be justified. 2Tim 4:3-4.
