Most Christians don’t know that Success from God is not pursued or achieved through normal hard work, but through positioning yourself spiritually to alignment with God’s lay down systems. (Peter – Luke 5, David – 1Sam 17, Shunemite woman – 2Kings 4:8-10)
God doesn’t randomly bless people; he responds to alignment and service. (Gen 22:16…. the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee,)
Kingdom service is a divine strategy for securing lasting success.
Understanding kingdom service
Kingdom service is giving your time, strength, talent, resources to advance God’s agenda.
1Cor 3: 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. You cannot serve God willingly and sincerely and be stranded.
- Kingdom service connects you to divine purpose: When you serve God’s purpose, he takes responsibility for your future (Psalm 89:3-4)
- Kingdom service provokes divine favor: Divine favor that leads to success is released when service is rendered. (1Sam 18:5) After David rendered the service, he automatically begins to enjoy unusual favors
- Kingdom Service activates covenant reward. God is a covenant keeping God (Job 36:11)
- Kingdom service puts you on God’s reward system (Heb 6:10, Exd 23:25) God does not forget genuine service.
- Kingdom service builds your capacity to sustain success
- Kingdom service trains your character before elevation (1Peter 5:10) What service builds success preserves.
Those who fail the test of service will fail the test of success.
How to position yourself practically for success
- Discover where your talents meet kingdom needs. (1Sam 16:18-19) Serve willingly and faithfully, not emotionally. (Isaiah 1:19)
- Serve with humility and not with pride or arrogant. (James 4:7) Serve consistently and not occasionally. (Prov 22:29)
- Serve protectively towards the group or department. (Luke 22:50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.)
Note: Kingdom service is not a burden but a channel to blessings that leads to success. (Mtt 25:21).
In your journey to success remember these things:
- Tithes – For open heaven and protection against devourer
- Seed Faith – the seed that represents your specific expectation
- Kingdom service – your commitment for God’s agenda on earth.
